Idiot VespucciAm Ves: Greetings! I am Amerigo Vespucci, fearless explorer of South America! (Well maybe not fearless, but WHO CARES, ANYWAYS!) I was born in 1454 in Florence, Italy into a respected family. As a young child I had a fascination with stars. My brother and I were employed by Florentine Medici family as their representative for their operations in Seville, Spain. After supplying ships for I while, I was selected as a navigator for Alonso Ojeda’s (O hea da s) expedition. The point was to sail around the southern end of Africa mainland, into the Indian Ocean.
